CODMAN COMPANY LEASES 25,000 SF FOR FAIRLANE AT CHAPEL BUSINESS CENTER IN NEWTON

BOSTON—The Codman Company, Inc. announced the leasing of 25,000 square feet at Chapel Business Center, an 80,000 square foot office/R&D building in Newton, Mass., within the first 3 months of ownership for Fairlane Chapel, LLC.

The Share Group, a direct marketing firm based currently in Davis Square, Somerville, MA, leased approximately 17,800 square feet at 73 Chapel Street, and Quantia Communications, a wireless and internet software communications company based currently in Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA, leased approximately 7,600 square feet at 65 Chapel Street.

Fairlane Properties, Inc. asset manager for the property has completed numerous cosmetic and building improvements at Chapel Business Center, also known as 59-83 Chapel Street. Michael Grill of Fairlane stated: “Share and Quantia have leased incredible 2nd floor spaces with brick and beam features complementing high ceilings. 11,000 square feet of two story unique office space is still available as well as 13,000 square feet of 1st floor R&D/light assembly space.”
